Merge games continue to captivate mobile users, and the second quarter of 2024 has seen some interesting movements in the market. Here's a look at the performance of the top Merge Games on Android in the US, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Gossip Harbor: Merge & Story by Microfun Limited showed a steady increase in revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at around $4.1M in the last recorded week. Downloads hit a high of 14.5M in early June but saw a dip to 9M towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users showed a consistent upward trend, reaching over 100K by late June.
The recently launched Zombie Evolution Battle from TheSunStudio had an initial surge in downloads, with over 12K in its first full week post-release, but this figure gradually decreased to just over 1K by the end of June. With no revenue to report, its active users peaked at around 13K in late May before dropping to 9K.
Spinner Merge, developed by Sunday.gg, had no revenue for the quarter. Downloads saw a spike of 6.4M in early May but fluctuated throughout the period, ending with a slight increase to 3.2M. Active users remained fairly stable, with a slight increase from around 32K to 37K by the quarter's end.

Downloads peaked at 4M in mid-May and then sharply declined to just a few hundred. Active users saw a high of 11K in late May, which had decreased to 8K by the quarter's end.
